So much going on at once!

Wow. It's been a busy week. Between getting our new furniture, buying our first major purchase as a couple (mattress) and getting our wedding pictures, it's been a wonderful few days. Last night Alex went to pick up the pictures and brought them over to the McCadams (babysitting) to take a first peek! The girls (Sophie and Ellie) absolutely loved them. ;) Ellie kept saying, "I wish we could do that day again, it was so much fun!" I completely agree with her. It's the best day of my entire life, so far.

Today, we had the mothers and grandmothers over to Susan and Steve's house to look at the pictures, they were "Gaga" over them as well. Hah! Ben and Megan were there as well as Claire and Hunter. It was fun! After, Alex headed back to the apartment to welcome the mattress. Claire and I walked into the room and could not believe how tall the bed sits! I feel like a queen. I've even told Alex I might need a step stool to help me get up into it. I guess I will just have to make a running start for it.

Pictures will be posted tonight! We are going to be going to our family friends house to celebrate Karenlee's birthday! She is 21+ yay!!! Also, our wedding pictures are posted in an online gallery which I will also post here later on this evening. Like I said, it's been a wonderful day and there's still daylight!

The Beginning!

Welcome to our blog!!! This is the first and official post of our first year together. Alex and I are very excited to share with you our lives as newlyweds. If it was not for our friends and family supporting us the way they do, we would not be who we are today.

For an update, Alex just got home two days ago from Atlanta, GA on a business trip for Ceramo, USA. When he got home, he was so excited to see that our new furniture had arrived! Dad and Robin got this for us as a wedding gift. We are actually going to buy a new mattress for this bed today!!! We stopped by Ross Furniture yesterday to double check on the exact one we wanted, and then decided to get it the next day. Pictures will post hopefully by the end of the weekend.

After looking at matresses after work, we headed over to Emily and Derek's! Stratton (their toddler) was watching Little Einsteins (his fav show). We also made yummy cupcakes and ran around like kids laughing and giggling with Stratton. Big Al is his buddy. They love to run and hide along with screaming. Haha.

I also had an eventful day filled with cleaning as well as an interview with Jackson schools. This would be such a blessing for Alex and I. Say some prayers and things will work out the way they're meant to. After all, he's got the whole world in His hands. With God's help, Alex and I are ready for anything to come our way.
