Ok, It's been wayyyy tooo long since I've posted. I know, I know! Well here's what's been happening in the lives of the Skeltons. We've been harvesting a baby. Baby Skelton is due any day now and we are patiently (not) awaiting their arrival. Are you kidding me?! We're beginning to try everything under the sun to get this kid out!
I'm not afraid to admit it. I'm tired of being pregnant. I'm tired of not being able to see my toes. I'm also tired of not being able to to fully relieve my bladder when using the restroom. There, I said it! Ahhh....it's so nice to vent. We've been so blessed in having a healthy pregnancy, yes; but at the same time...gosh! 9 months is a REALLY LONG TIME!!!
Here's an update on all of my "measurements" . I can no longer wear anymore of my pants without feeling somewhat uncomfortable. I can also not wear a shirt that I own that my belly doesn't hang out of. Good thing my husband wears XXL! His shirts actually "fit" me. My bras also no longer truly fit (thank you Mother Nature); my underwear no longer bears the name "VS"; and forget about wearing real shoes...flips flops for the good next few months!

Today we went to the Dr. hoping that it would be Christmas and we'd be bringing a baby home within the next 48 hours. Forget that! My cervix was checked by two different people. I'm 90% effaced and simply waiting on my water to break. The actual due date is this Thursday (3 days), and we go back to get checked again. If she thinks that my cervix is ready, we will be induced Thursday evening. If not then, Friday morning.

We are home now and I'm finding it very hard to do anything but stay busy. I'm contemplating going through my drawers/clothes to prepare for our neighborhood garage sale; cleaning out our spare room; or even making cookies. UGH. Trying to stay busy is a hard job when you're this pregnant. Can you tell I'm grouchy and hormones are raging right about now!?

On the bright side, this does give us a few more days to prepare the house. We were prepared before now but I know Alex is planning on mowing today/cleaning out garage while I'm just trying to find things to do.
Updates will be daily from now on.
When that baby comes, updates may be hourly......
